Zen Colour Art is a small business in Barrie, Ontario. This policy explains what personal information we collect when you visit zencolourart.com or buy from us, how we use it, and the choices you have. We follow Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).
Information we collect
Order details: your name, email address, shipping or pickup details, and the products you buy. Payments are processed securely by Stripe — we never see or store your full card number.
Account details: if you create an account (by email or Google sign-in), we store your name, email, order history and rewards points balance.
Messages: information you send through our contact or wholesale inquiry forms, such as your name, business, email and message.
Usage data: we use Google Analytics and our own basic site analytics to understand which pages are visited and how shoppers move through the store. This may include device type, browser, approximate location and pages viewed.
How we use your information
To process, ship or arrange local pickup of your orders, send order confirmations and answer your questions.
To run your account and rewards program, and to improve our website, products and content.
To send marketing emails only if you have opted in. Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link.
After checkout, Google Customer Reviews may invite you to review your purchase if you choose to opt in.
Sharing your information
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers who help us run the store — such as Stripe (payments), Google (analytics, sign-in and customer reviews), our email delivery provider, our website hosting provider, and shipping carriers — and only as needed to provide their service, or when required by law.
Some of these providers may store data outside Canada, including in the United States, where it may be subject to local laws.
Cookies
We use cookies and similar storage to keep you signed in, remember your cart, and measure site traffic. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, though the cart and sign-in may not work properly without them.
How long we keep information
We keep order records as long as needed for tax, accounting and legal purposes. Account information is kept until you ask us to delete your account. Inquiry messages are kept only as long as needed to respond and follow up.
Your choices and rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, or withdraw consent to marketing at any time. You can update your profile from your account page, or email us and we will respond within 30 days.
Children
Our store is intended for adults. Kids' colouring books should be purchased by a parent or guardian, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
